COOP by Trelise Cooper
The show was vibrant, energetic and encapsulated Trelise’s exquisite attention to detail while still bringing a whole new look to her collection.
I saw so many pieces that I would love to buy – which is always a good sign at a runway show. The metallic fabrics are currently on trend right now after seeing them rule the catwalks in New York earlier this year, and the sporty-chic style sweatshirts paired with feminine skirts are already on the racks at international stores like Karen Walker & Zara.
As one of our most successful and talented kiwi designers, Trelise has recently been invited to speak for a United Nations organisation as an inspirational role model, as well as debut a couture fashion line in New York in addition to showcasing her annual NZFW collection.
Trelise holds a New Zealand order of Merit for her dedication to the NZ Fashion industry – you go girl!
Overall the show was a hit and was by far one of the most captivating and consistent shows I saw. The models were confident and wore the clothes well, and there was a buzz from audience members upon conclusion.
Congrats to Trelise & her amazing team!
